Data Reprocessing¶
This guide aims to provide guidance on how retroactive data processing works in BotCity Insights. Below, see what needs to be done and how to follow each step of the process.
What We Need to Know¶
To request data reprocessing, you need to provide:
-
Start date for reprocessing
We need to know from which date the data will be reprocessed. This information is essential to understand the scope. -
Financial data filled in
Make sure the financial data is up to date on the Insights dashboard. Without this, the reprocessing will not be effective. -
Reporting in
finish task
Ensure the automations are correctly reporting thefinish taskevent. This is important so that the data appears accurately. The fields reported in thefinish taskare:totalItems: total number of items in the taskprocessedItems: number of items successfully processed in the taskfailedItems: number of items that failed in the task execution

Types of Automation and How to Proceed¶
Depending on how the automation works, the process varies slightly:
-
Automation that processes only 1 item per task
Each task logs only one item as processed and total — we can proceed directly with reprocessing. -
Automation that processes multiple items per task
In this case, we need more details:- Total number of items per task;
- Number of items successfully processed per task;
- Total number of failed items per task; For this case, a spreadsheet will be sent to the requester to fill in this information correctly.
Filling Out the Spreadsheet¶
If you need to fill out the multiple-items spreadsheet, here are some important rules:
-
Only edit the last 3 columns:
totalItems: total number of items in that taskprocessedItems: number of items successfully processedfailedItems: number of failed items
-
Do not change the column order or names.
- If a task already has reported values, the value can be kept.
The important thing is to correctly fill in the columns that are still blank or incomplete.
Warning
Even with the spreadsheet filled out, reprocessing can only be carried out if the financial data for the automations is registered in Insights. So always make sure this is up to date before requesting the process.

Requesting the Reprocessing¶
The reprocessing request must be made through the BotCity support channel, sending all the necessary information to carry out the process.
Processing Timeframe
After all information has been submitted, there is a maximum of 10 calendar days to complete the reprocessing.
